Paradise Lost Symphony X Domination. 4 but came together again in with the released of Paradise Lost, a concept album based on Milton's tale.

Description:Overall, this is certainly not Symphony X's best album, but it's a natural change of direction for the band, and one which should help them appeal to a broader metal audience. I know he could write better stuff, for he is the guy that pretty much got every kid and their brother's into prog metal has really kind of dumbed himself down. A few instances include the melodic fist pumping chorus in "Set the World on Fire The Lie of Lies ," the over the top knotty guitar and bass mania in "Serpent's Kiss," the moody piano chromatics in the title track with Allen 's vocal unhurried and unforced, carrying a melody both melancholy and prophetic and you have something quite special. Could Symphony X be traveling down the path towards simply being a groove metal band with keyboard enhancement? For those of you who still don't get it, the entire album is a heavy metal retelling of the poem Paradise Lost.
