Description:Both teams finished the game trading chances but ending in a tie. The second period was an aggressive physical battle between both teams, with players crossing the line one too many times. The Canadians took 16 minutes in penalties, while the Hurricanes took only two minutes in penalties. In the dying minutes of the first, the Raiders would take the lead on the first of two goals from Kondrat, with assists from Mary MacDonald and Puddifant. The Rebels had a struggle on their hands early in the third period when they were forced to defend their lead on a four minute checking to the head call. They continued on the offense with a shorthanded goal by Gage Gonglaves with a minute left in the 1st. Wanting to add some insurance for the Buffaloes, Michael Makarenko scored the final goal of the period giving the Buffaloes a lead, with the assist coming from Ryan Shostak.
