Advertisement Helen Andrews of the British Dietetic Association told the Independent that drinking your own pee as a hydration method could be "detrimental" to your health. Also, water is reclaimed from urine, purified and filtered for consumption on the International Space Station. Still though, the concept has been around for years, so is there any truth to it at all?
